Stone Restoration FAQs

Do you use wax or coatings to make it shiny?

No. We restore the stone itself through mechanical honing and polishing. Coatings scratch easily, trap dirt, and create long-term maintenance problems.

Can you remove etch marks from marble?

Yes. Etch marks are chemical burns in the surface and must be honed out with diamonds — they can’t be “cleaned off” with normal cleaners.

Is polished stone slippery?

Dry polished stone performs well indoors. In wet or exterior areas we can adjust the finish and recommend proper mats and maintenance.

How long does restoration take?

Most residential projects take 1–2 days depending on size and condition. Larger commercial projects vary.
